Create an account under Accounts — a bank account, a card, cash, or anything you want to follow. Add transactions from the + button, and assign each one a category. The dashboard starts filling in immediately.
To explore the app before entering anything real, open Settings → Data → Load sample data. It replaces the current content with a realistic demo set, which you can wipe afterwards.
No. There is no bank aggregation and no card linking. You enter your transactions yourself, which is precisely why the app needs no credentials and no account.

Not automatically. There is no iCloud sync in version 1.0 — each device holds its own database. To move your data, use Settings → Data → Backup on one device and restore the file on the other.
Settings → Data → Backup produces an encrypted document. Save it somewhere you trust and keep it: if you delete the app or lose the device, we cannot recover your data, because we never hold a copy.
No, and we want to be straightforward about why. The database is encrypted on your device with a key stored in your Keychain, and nothing is ever sent to us. There is no server-side copy to restore from. This is the direct trade-off of a design that never sees your data.
No. Version 1.0 ships with bundled rates and converts offline across eight currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, CAD, JPY, AUD, CNY). They are suitable for an overview, not for precise or dated conversions.
Entirely on your device, from your own figures, on a 0–100 scale. It weighs your savings rate, your net worth, your cash buffer relative to average monthly spending, your debt ratio and your budget discipline. No data leaves the device to produce it, and it is an indicator — not financial advice.
Settings → Security → App Lock. It uses Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode, whichever your device supports. Privacy Mode, just below, hides every amount behind dots so you can open the app in public.
An optional field for a self-hosted configuration endpoint, used to announce maintenance windows. Leave it empty and the app runs fully offline. It only ever downloads a small JSON file and never uploads anything.
Settings → Data → Delete all data wipes the database on that device permanently. Deleting the app has the same effect. Neither is reversible.
